Setting Up the Proxy for Apt on Ubuntu

Bismillah

Setelah beberapa hari gak pakai jaringan isp c, dan paket data pun nyari yang murah. Akhirnya pakai indosat. Disayangkan, beberapa server repository buat update, gak dikenali sama jaringan mereka. Solusi ? pasang proxy.

Konfigurasi apt proxy

Buat file dengan nama proxy.conf

sudo touch /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/proxy.conf

Buka file yg telah dibuat dengan editor, disini saya pakai `nano`

sudo nano /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/proxy.conf

Isi file dengan baris perintah seperti berikut

Acquire {
    HTTP::proxy "http://127.0.0.1:8080";
    HTTPS::proxy "http://127.0.0.1:8080";
}

Alamat IP 127.0.0.1 port 8080 bisa diganti sesuai dengan alamat proxy yang mau dipakai. Buat nyari daftarnya ada di link referensi dibagian paling bawah.

Simpan dan jalankan apt update / apt upgrade

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
